A Courtly German ormolu-mounted Bureau Cabinet
Johann Georg Neßtfell was one of the most outstanding cabinetmakers in Franconia. He worked for the Counts of Schönborn already in 1717 and executed numerous commissions for Wiesentheid Palace. On their behalf, he produced several monastery libraries, for example in Münsterschwarzach and St. Stephan's in Würzburg - he also made the famous “choir benches” in Banz Monastery.
