A near identical – but since the 2nd World War lost – chandelier was delivered 1797 by Werner & Mieth to Frederik II’s winter apartment at Schloss Charlottenburg in Berlin.

Werner & Mieth was founded in Berlin in 1792. They became suppliers to the court in 1794 and delivered chandeliers to the finest houses and castles around Berlin, including the Japanese Palace, Sanssouci in Potsdam, Schloss Monbijou.
